The LTSC branding represents a commitment to product stability and approach to updates relevant to specific commercial scenarios, such as regulated devices. Office 2019 had a seven-year support window-Office LTSC will only offer five, as will the consumer version of Office 2021. The 'Long Term Service Channel' version of Office 2021 will also have a shorter support life cycle than that enjoyed by previous versions of Office.
